Physiotherapy exercise plan

District nurse wound check

The district nurse visited to check the wound from Margaret's hip operation. It's healing well with no signs of infection. The clips holding it closed can come out from day 14 after surgery — that's the 16th of July — so it's worth booking that appointment now.

Occupational therapy home assessment

An occupational therapist visited Margaret at home to check she could manage safely. Two changes were recommended: a grab rail fitted beside the bath, and a raised toilet seat to make sitting and standing easier while her hip heals. Both are straightforward, inexpensive fittings — nothing structural.
